Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated August 14, 2026
This policy applies to use of the GramScraper website, dashboard and API. It forms part of the Terms of Service. GramScraper is intended for lawful analysis of publicly available Instagram profile and content data.
Permitted uses
Examples include content performance analysis, creator and profile research, social listening, trend research, and internal reporting, provided the use respects applicable law, platform rules and individual rights.
Prohibited uses
You must not use GramScraper, its output, or attempts to combine its output with other sources to:
- collect, infer, verify, enrich, sell or distribute email addresses, phone numbers or other contact details;
- build, sell or distribute marketing, prospecting, follower, following, liker or other person-level audience lists;
- send or facilitate spam, unsolicited outreach, automated direct messages, or other communications without an appropriate lawful basis and required consent;
- access private or non-public information, bypass access controls, evade technical restrictions, or obtain deleted content;
- harass, stalk, surveil, intimidate or exploit any person;
- profile or make decisions about people based on sensitive traits, or use facial recognition or biometric identification;
- target or profile children, or facilitate child exploitation;
- make eligibility, employment, housing, credit, insurance, healthcare or similarly consequential decisions about a person;
- resell raw GramScraper output, operate a data brokerage service, or reconstruct functionality that GramScraper has disabled;
- infringe privacy, publicity, intellectual-property or other third-party rights; or
- engage in fraud, malware, security attacks, illegal activity, or conduct that creates material risk for GramScraper or its providers.
Your responsibilities
You are responsible for your use case, your notices and permissions, the security of exported data, responding to rights requests relating to your own processing, and deleting data when it is no longer needed. Public availability does not by itself make every use lawful.
Monitoring and enforcement
GramScraper may monitor request metadata and usage patterns to operate and protect the service. We may apply rate limits, investigate suspected misuse, block a request, suspend or terminate an account or API key, preserve relevant records, or cooperate with a valid legal process. High-volume, unusual or higher-risk use may require a use-case review and additional information before access continues.
Report abuse
Report suspected misuse to [email protected] with the account, endpoint, URL and conduct involved. Do not include passwords, API keys or unnecessary sensitive information.
