What you see and why
TikTok usernames are 2 to 24 characters of letters, numbers, periods and underscores, and cannot end with a period. If the name passes, we look it up. An account that answers means the name is taken. If none does, the name appears available: banned accounts and names TikTok reserves also look free from outside, so confirm in the TikTok app.

Why does TikTok reject a name this tool says is free?
It may belong to a banned account, have been released too recently, or be reserved by TikTok. Those names do not show up as an account from outside.
How long can a TikTok username be?
Between 2 and 24 characters: letters, numbers, periods and underscores, and it cannot end with a period.
How often can I change my TikTok username?
TikTok allows a username change once every 30 days.
Can I check names in bulk?
