Instagram Money Calculator
Type a @handle to see a sponsored post rate range, worked out from real followers and engagement, with the math shown.
How it works
- Type a public Instagram username.
- We measure followers and engagement from the latest posts.
- See a price range for one sponsored feed post or reel, and what moves it.
How we calculate it
We start from $6–$14 per 1,000 followers for one sponsored post, then adjust it twice. Size: per-follower rates fall as accounts grow, so larger accounts get a lower share of that rate (first table). Engagement: the account's engagement rate divided by the typical rate for its size (second table), kept between 0.25× and 2×. Under 1,000 followers, most brands pay in products, not cash, so we don't give a cash figure.
This is an estimate from public numbers, not a quote. Niche, audience location, usage rights, exclusivity and deliverables all move real rates a lot, and deals with the very largest accounts are negotiated one by one.
| Account size | Share of base rate |

| Under 100K followers | 100% |

| Under 10K followers | 4% |
| 10K–100K | 2.4% |
| 100K–1M | 1.6% |

Questions
How much do Instagram influencers make per post?
A common starting point is $6–$14 per 1,000 followers per sponsored post, lower for very large accounts and adjusted for engagement. Finance, tech and B2B audiences often pay more, and broad entertainment audiences less.
Why a range and not one number?
Real rates depend on things public data can't show: niche, where the audience lives, usage rights and how many deliverables are in the deal. A range is the honest answer.
Does it include stories or reels?
The range is for one sponsored feed post or reel. Stories usually sell for less, and bundles usually earn a discount per item.
Can I estimate rates for a whole creator list?
Yes. The API gives you followers and recent post engagement for 3 credits per creator, so you can apply this model to as many as you need.
